First of all… where has this mousse been my whole life? I’m a naturally curly haired girl, but I’ve spent years messing with hair tools and straighteners, and my curls had lost their pattern. I started using this volume mousse during my postpartum era, because between hair shedding and my curls not holding after a couple hours, I knew I needed something that was going to help my hair look ready to go at all times. Just WOW. The scent is not overpowering, it’s a light weight texture and offers an incredible amount of hold throughout the day. It does not make your hair feel heavy or look greasy, in fact it helped keeping my hair cleaner because I’m not touching it constantly trying to style it. 10/10 recommended for my curly girls!!

I was very excited to try this Kenra Professional Volume Mousse Extra 17. First of all I loved the look of the packaging it was very classy. This volume mousse smelled so good when I applied it to my hair and a little went a long way. I put about a pump in my hair and then worked it throughout my hair. I then blew my hair dry and styled it and definitely found that it had such a nice fullness and shine. This Kenra Professional Volume Mousse Extra 17 gave my thin lifeless hair more of a styled look. This product kept my hair looking great and smelling good throughout the day. I definitely want to continue to use this product as part of my daily haircare routine. I highly recommend the Kenra Professional Volume Mousse Extra 17 and Kenra products.

I have never tried this product before and based on reviews I decided to order it. I’m really happy that I did actually! I love the smell it works great for my hair which is borderline coarse not dry I do have color on my hair and my hair has been highlighted and low lighted.. And the dispenser is the typical one that you would expect for this type of product. My hair is naturally wavy and when I use this product it holds the waves very very well. There is a slight crunch but it’s not too bad compared to the products that are used in the 80s in the 90s I definitely will re-purchase this product and recommend it..

I wanted to get a mousse to put in wet hair before putting ny hair in kitsch heatless curling rods, which i do every saturday. my curls come out amazing and last most of the day, but i wanted them to look a bit more defined and not fall as quickly. As soon as i dispensed this in my hand, i knew it was weird. it smelled bad, and was super runny even after shaking it for a while. it made my hair WET again and immediately stiff. I still did my hair around rods to test it out, cause maybe it would be better in the morning, but i noticed that after my hair dried, it was insanely crunchy, dry, and stiff. not like any other mousse ive ever used. this morning when i took the rods out, my curls looked a lot worse than usual; very uneven and wild. this is the only thing i changed in the routine. wouldnt recommend this product

I recently decided to try this mousse for extra volume in my hair and it didn’t disappoint! It added volume to my roots and entire hair. I was pleasantly surprised that it lasted all day too! I haven’t experienced any build up or crunchiness so far in my hair or scalp. I simply put some mousse in my hair when it’s wet and before I blow dry, and the results are amazing. This will now be a staple in my hair care routine. I highly recommend!

I recently switched to the Kenra 17 mousse because another brand I had been using did not provide the volume and hold I prefer (I have long, straight hair). The Kenra 17 mousse provides very good volume and a good hold without being sticky while drying my hair. The scent is light and pleasant, and the mousse does not flake on my dark hair when I brush through it, which is very much appreciated!

I like how this holds my fine hair, I am having trouble with it making my scalp itch, I think it is something in the fragrance. I have allergy issues with fragrance. I am trying to use it very carefully and keep it off my scalp. My squirt cap is not working correctly so I have to play with that. This is a nice product, my hair stylist also uses this and likes it very much.

Kenra 17 has been a lifesaver for helping me style my curls without dragging them down. Since it's a lightweight mousse, my waves and light curls can have bounce without becoming straight from heaviness. A little product goes a long way, and I've never had any issues with the product arriving damaged in any way.

Some products that form a cast can weigh down my hair and almost prevent my curl pattern from being as tight and bouncy as it could be. On the other hand ive found most products that claim to be strong hold without leaving hair "crunchy" is not strong at all and I end up with frizz and not great definition. This is the first product I have found that actually has the benefits of a strong hold but doesnt form a cast. It leaves my hair bouncy, defined, smooth and full of volume. It is my new go to.

Volume for days!! First time I used this was on 2nd day hair. I sprayed my hair w/water to get it sufficiently damp to blow dry this in. Luv Kenra products!! I just used 1 good size pump (or "ball"of foam) for my thick, coarse, shoulder length hair. Kenra smells amazing and always makes my hair silky and soft. The volume was amazing!! The next morning (3rd day!) I had planned to shampoo but my hair was still so soft and voluminous I decided that - even w/going on live camera that day - I didn't need to! W/out adding any more Kenra Volume Mousse 17, I used my curling brush and velco rollers and my hair was GORG!! Looked, smelled, and felt freshly shampoo'd and styled!! Day 4 ... just brushing thru my hair, I STILL have crazy volume and soft, touchable hair!! Even my stylist of nearly 20 years - who is not a Kenra "fan" - admits that for my thick, coarse, wavy hair ... Kenra is amazing!!!

This product helps with volumen and also reduce frizziness. It doesn't leave any residue or white fuzz over the hair. I have thick hair and I am surprised it hold my hair great with good texture. It also leaves my hair shine, and the scent is not overpowering.
