Thermashape Hot Flex Spray 6.8oz

Used this once, after recommendation from a store staff member -- and unsure if it was a case of mistaken identity given how close it looks to the blow dryer formula, but this was in no way as "light" as advertised. I use heat protectant every time I blow dry my hair. As soon as I sprayed it to towel dried hair and started lightly finger combing to distribute I could feel way more friction, waxiness and snagging. I thought it was odd but hoped it would settle once my hair was fully dry. How wrong I was. I wash every three days and bought my go to heat protectant after day two. My hair was stiff, sticky, very voluminous and snagged ridiculously easily on every brush or comb. I woke up with horrendous knots 5mm across that I could only use my fingers to detangle. I'm sure it has its uses (eg curling for an updo and washing out immediately) but it was not for me, and everyday use.

I mainly bought this as a simple heat protection to use before heat but I’ve noticed it also helps keep a curl in my hair. It’s non greasy and you can’t really tell you have used the product doesn’t leave any residue

I consistently use KMS therma shape and it never let's me down. I have fine, dead straight hair that is very soft. This helps maintain my curls, and even when they drop they still look good.

I recently purchased a Dyson Airwrap and needed a product to help shape and hold the curls. This does not disappoint. I sprayed on to dry hair and then styled for voluminous curls that held their shape and allowed for a further restyle the following morning. This will be my go-to styling product for curls!

This heat protectant is easy to use, by just spraying it onto the hair. I do feel it protects my hair from styling tools. I just wish it dried down a bit quicker, so that I can use my heat tools right away.

Bought as alternative to L’Oréal Pli and pleasantly surprised. Use with Olaplex blow dry spray and Dyson Air Wrap and curls stay in all day and can easily be refreshed the following morning. Volume lasts for most of the day but results are less impressive than the curls. No smell on hair or stickiness, leaves a good shine too.

I have only used this a few times since I got it but I really like it. I have been using cheap thermal sprays and so had to get used to the fact that with this one I only need to use a very little bit. I usually use a straightener to curl my hair and I find with this product I have to be really careful if I need to re curl a piece because it has really good hold and tends to just want to go straight if I redo it. But I don’t think that would be as big of a problem once I get used to using less product. It smells really good too. So far I get the feeling that I’m really going to love it!

I have used loads of heat protection sprays over the years, this is the best by miles! My hair is naturally wavy but I like to wear it smooth and straight. So not only does it protect from the heat but it keeps my hair from kinking or waving all day without being hard like a hairspray. I haven’t had to keep re doing it. I will definitely keep buying this on repeat.

Have found the product to be excellent. Wanted something with a dual purpose to style my hair and extensions with my Dyson air brush. This fits the bill perfectly and am happy as don’t need to apply much setting spray. This is my third bottle.

Not the best hold but definitely does better with heat rather than air dry. Doesn’t leave residue or make hair dry. Also a bit laborious to apply if you’ve got a lot of hair.

Brilliant hold. Seems sticky at first but then that fades and hair is glossy again
