Silkening Heat Cream 3.4oz

This product is a necessity for me on days where I straighten or curl my hair. I usually use it on air dried hair if I am going to style it, and it works amazing! Heat protectant is an absolute necessity to avoid damage to my hair. This doesn’t only protect my hair from heat, it adds such a luxurious shine to it as well. I prefer this to a spray heat protectant because I am able to control how much I use and where it is applied so avoid making my hair look oily. The texture is a creamy gel while still lightweight. The smell is also great, refreshing and spa-like. Highly recommend!

I'm in the market for a new heat protectant and this one came up in the search. I decided to give it a try since I'm familiar with the brand and I have to say that I'm a fan. I honestly love the smell of it. I know someone complained about why they would want their hair to smell like bananas and personally I would! It says to use 1-3 pumps depending on hair density but I had to use a lot more on my daughter's thick hair so I'm not sure about how accurate the recommendation is. It made the hair silkier and shinier. I will be making this a part of the hair routine for sure. Time will tell if it helps protect against heat damage.

This is really good at protecting your hair. It also smells really good. It’s really good if you have oily hair as well and you can use any store-bought shampoo and conditioner and this product with a really good leave in conditioner will make your hair look like you just walked out of a salon. It makes my hair feel smooth and it helps avoid breakage from any hairbrush or any heat of style so like a hairbrush blow dryer or blow dryer flat iron curling iron works for it all.

it took several uses before I figured out how to use it. Basically, I wasn't putting enough on at first. And I didn't see any results. I put this on just before my hair is completely dry. I section my hair into 3 parts.... left, right and back. 3 to 4 pumps per section. I have fine hair but a lot of it, below my shoulders. I have 2C to 3A hair and blow it straight most of the time. This stuff is amazing! (Once you figure out how much to use.) My hair is super soft, straight, shiny and beautiful. Doesn't feel like there is anything in my hair. No stiffness or product flaking. Helps with humidity. I definitely recommend trying this product.

I have straight hair but blow dry and flat iron. It can become frizzy, especially in the humid months. I've tried multiple products for heat protection and smoothing. I finally found the IT product! I was skeptical of using cream on dry hair. Wouldn't it just leave a gross residue on my hair? Nope! And a little goes a long way! It smells amazing and it leaves my hair shiny and smooth with a flat iron. And best of all, it's a heat protectant too! It's worth the try!

Kenra Silkening Heat Creme is a game changer ! As someone with natural curls who straightens her hair weekly, Im always looking to protect my hair from heat damage. This product only requires a few pumps and goes a long way ! I apply it prior to straightening and it leaves my hair completely smooth and shiny. HIGHLY recommend !

I absolutely love this product...until heat gets involved. It smells so good at first and adds silkiness to your hair, but as soon as you apply heat to your hair it goes all wrong. Then every time you turn on the hot tool after the smell returns until you clean it all off. Basically unuseable as a heat protectant because of the horrible smell.

I have colored, wavy & frizzy hair. I'm in menopause & my hair is not as soft as it used to be. This Kendra crème has been great! The directions say to use in dry hair but I put it on when it's towel dried. Works for me! Smells nice & not sticky. I use two pumps & it's plenty for my shoulder length hair.

I did not expect to love this as much as I did! I have been looking for a heat protectant that works well on dry hair and this is IT. It didn't feel sticky, smells great, and left my hair feeling smooth and shiny! I have very thick curly hair and even still a little goes a long way. I normally use the ColorWow Dream Coat which is still great, but it feels better on wet hair than dry. This is my new go to!

I bought a bottle years ago and happened to be going through my cabinet and found it way in the back. Gave it a shot with my Revlon One-Step blow dryer and I've been obsessed since! I have fine, curly hair and follow the directions by letting my hair mostly air dry after putting in a lightweight, frizz taming leave-in conditioner. Once ends are mostly dry, I pump 2-3 pumps and smooth it along the ends and up mid-shaft, but never higher. Follow with a couple of sprays of the blow dry spray, and go to work. It is so silky, not oily, so shiny, and takes my ends from looking kinky and frizzy, which is typical for my hair texture. Once finished I add one final pump to ends just to keep them smooth. It's made a huge difference in the style and feel post blowout! I also love the scent. I can't quite describe it, but it is sweet and fruity.

I have tried different heat styling creams and this is my favorite. Its not oily or sticky, but more like a lotion for your hair. It keeps my curls and like most of the Kenra products its smells good as well.
