Nice Little Booster

I have fine, wavy hair. When my dry hair starts to look a little limp I give a few spritzes of this and it gives it some piecey texture and volume. The smell is slightly strong for my liking however it does not stay strong once applied and I am smell sensitive. The mist is not very fine, so hold the bottle a little further out from your head for a lighter application. It's not a part of my daily routine, but I am grateful to have it as an on the spot product. How I Use: Give hair a lift with one end to give some fluffy to the ends as I spray the product from an arm's length distance. Scrunch and leave as is or run a wide tooth comb after it as dried. Avoid the roots. I do not apply to my hair when wet / damp because I find it weighs my hair down too much. Note - it originally froze in transit but did not seem to be altered by the temp change.

Best Salt Spray Ever

I got this free from a friend who bought it but didn't really like it on her hair, but WOW does it do wonders for mine! I have a short pixie cut and 2c/3a hair that struggles to have body and curl when it's this short due to how dense my hair is but this spray livens it right up. I get the prettiest waves and texture to my hair and it doesn't dry it out a bit! My ends stay so soft and the shine is crazy. I'm used to salt sprays kind of mattifying my hair and this doesn't do that at all. It's volumizing without being 70s kind of wild volume. It just looks natural and kind of wind-blown, just like how my hair always looked when I used to live near the beach. Another huge plus for me is that it doesn't accelerate color fade - I have platinum/white hair and I've tried some of the really expensive salt and sugar sprays but they all either dull my bright white or speed up how fast my toner fades. My hair is toned with Shades EQ and it fades fast normally, so I have to be so careful with the products I use or else my platinum turns icky fast. My color stays bright and icy for a good long while even while using this. if you want natural-looking texture and body without drying out your hair, THIS is the texture spray you want. No substitutions.

One of the best

Verb is always killing it with their products, and this is definitely one of my favorites. A friend gave me their bottle because she never used it and I use this pretty much all the time. I have wavy/curly hair (2c/3a) that's bleached platinum blonde and this gives me really natural beachy texture and emphasizes my natural texture without making it dry, crunchy, or gross like a lot of salt sprays do. And unlike a sugar spray, while it's a softer texturing spray, it still gives texture! I get that kind of lived-in, effortlessly messy look I love and still get to enjoy soft, shiny hair. It's lightweight so it doesn't make my roots greasy (great with my short hair) and gives a nice subtle boost of volume as well. And it doesn't dull my color a bit! My platinum is very icy/white toned and salt sprays can often either fade my toner a lot quicker or cause a weird dulling effect but this doesn't. My color stays looking great and on-tone.

All the Texture, None of the Crunch

I've used Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray for many years, but I use Verb everything else, so I thought I'd give the Sea Spray a try, and wow, it's fantastic! I even did a test where I applied the Bumble and Bumble salt spray on one side of my head and the Verb salt spray on the other. The Verb side had the beachy texture I love, but my hair felt healthy, whereas the Bumble and Bumble side felt dry and I couldn't run my fingers through my hair. I kept the Bumble and Bumble for travel only (hey, Verb, why no travel-size Sea Spray?), but I use the Verb one for every day. One note on the fragrance: I do prefer the Bumble and Bumble fragrance, which is barely there; the fragrance of the Verb Sea Spray is kind of awful (very sweet), but it does fade quickly, so I put up with it.

If you want French girls' undone sexy style but not the sticky heavy feeling, go for Verb Sea Texture Spray! I never liked any styling products. They make my hair feeling sticky and heavy. So when my hairstylist recommends it, I was skeptical. She just sprayed a good amount to finish up my hair appointment, and I feel like a Cinderella in crystal heels! The undone hair was the style I never though I'd love but looked so flattery on me. I cannot resist buying from her right away (I am bargain-oriented, so it is hard fro me to pass any discount when I know there is one in other stores). I am learning not to wash my hair everyday, and this product is really helpful on the second day. I first use dry shampoo, brush through my hair, and then spray Sea Texture Spray all over my hair. It gives such a beautiful volume. Moreover, it feels light and airy. My finger can easily brush through the hair. I think I will not try other similar styling product for life as long as it is continuously on the market.

Extremely mid on fine, straight hair

Salt spray usually works so well with my hair, I keep looking at the ingredients and trying to figure out why this didn’t. Has a lovely, coconutty beachy smell that I love. It doesn’t leave weird flaky residue on my hair. It’s an overall lovely user experience except…it doesn’t texturize my hair at all. It almost gives it a kind of silicone-slip and limbless? I’ve tried applying it to dry hair, damp hair, putting hair in a braid over night, twists, combing it out in the morning, brushing it out. All kinds of permutations of usage. They all yielded hair that felt soft but was not any more voluminous. It’s still 3 stars because I have very fine, straight hair. I suspect this probably does work for people with denser strands with more of a natural curl pattern.

Perfect for thin silky hair

I have 2b/2c hair but it's thin and can be silky, which means it's weighed down so easy. I was trying to find something to define my curls but not erase my volume. I even tried olaplex and it did not work. I originally used this as a finishing spray in top of a gel/mouse hold prodcut, but I tried it by itself and the results are even better. All I use is verb heat protectant and this, and my loose curls are so bouncy, defined, and soft. I put some on when my hair is still damp, blowdry with a diffuser, and then add more when it's dry as needed.

Heavenly scent, effortless beachy waves!

This Verb Sea Spray smells heavenly and gives great texture to your hair! I don’t like my hair to have that crunchy feeling that other brand’s texture sprays have caused, so I was really happy that this one doesn’t do that and it’s light-weight and holds well! I have fine hair but a lot of it so volume is important for me and I loved that it didn’t weight down my hair and it actually gave me more volume! It works great on natural curls and even on straight hair if you’re wanting that pretty beach wavy look. I’m so glad I was able to try this thanks to PinchMe, I highly recommend!

I love it but it’s not Matirx 😩💔 I got this in a pinch bc I figured why not let me try it I see this brand is getting used in some salons near me so wanted to see what they hype is about. I went for a styling product instead of a cleanser and it’s not bad! It has a nice smell, it has a good light hold meaning I can go a few days without washing my hair 3+ I like products that allow me to build upon them BUT that don’t leave residue or leave a product feel in my hair. I know I’m asking for a lot lol 😂 This is a good product but I think once I have a favorite it’s hard for me to change my mind! This is great but it’s not like the matrix texture spray or Oribe which is what I’m trying to replicate without a 30-50$ price tag on the regular. I use this with STMNTu hair wax + Olaplex hair oil and it works well when mixed or solo. I also apply this daily sometimes twice a day depending if I’m going out or something I like to use it as a touch up and I’m very heavy handed with and it’s never given me an issue I just wish it had slightly more hold to it.

I got a free sample from PinchMe.com for my honest review. First of all, the bottle of the spray is so cute! I got an updated version so it's actually tiffany blue colored now rather than clear bottle. Also the fragrant is very refreshing with a mango/coconut fruity smell. I read the older version is ocean scented. I think it would smell great too. As for the effect, hmmm, I have to say it doesn't really work on me. I'm Asian so I have dark straight hair. It doesn't create any curl even I twisted my hair with my fingers. I think it's because my hair is too thick. It might work better on lighter(both volume and color wise) hair. I see great pics from other users online. Just not for me :(

Gotta have Sea shampoo and conditioner!

I absolutely love the sea shampoo and conditioner!!! I love the smell, and how clean my hair feels. My scalp doesn't get oily throughout the day, nor do I get buildup. My scalp is typically greasy and it requires me to wash my hair daily, but with this my oil production is decreased and I can wash every other day. I was very disappointed finding out Sea was being discontinued. I think that is a big mistake... especially since H2O plus discontinued their lines and that was the only one I've found to be similar to Verb Sea.

Lost a customer

I've been using the verb sea spray for years. The results are great coming from someone with pin straight hair and it's probably the only one I've found that works without making my hair crunchy or needing additional styling. However I won't be purchasing it again unless an unscented version comes out because the new scent is horrible. One of the reasons I loved the original formula was the very mild beachy scent but the mango is so strong and sickening sweet. I wish I knew the new version would be scented while the old one was on clearance so I could use something while I look for a new go to because I can't stand to use this formula and will be returning it.
