High Amplify - Wonder Boost 8.5oz

I was lucky enough to be given this shampoo from my hair stylist a few years ago and I have kept repurchasing. I like this shampoo because I feel it’s great at cleaning my hair without feeling everything was stripped from it. I have very thin hair so I like how it makes my hair have more volume than it feel other shampoo I have used. I also feel it has helped in strengthening my hair and having less breakage. It also smells good.

For me, not as good as other Matrix products I've used historically. I'm not keen on the fragrance and my hair actually feels drier than before when I use it. It does seem clarifying snd lathers well so a little goes a long way but once ive used it up I'll revert back to other products in this range that give me better results.

I struggle with extreme oiliness and greasy hair-I'm the type of person who just can't train my hair, no matter how long I wait between washes or how much dry shampoo I use. After a lot of research, I've realized that I need to wash my hair every other day. That's why I absolutely love this shampoo! It contains AHA to keep my scalp clean, reduce oiliness, and add volume. I really appreciate that this shampoo acts like a skincare solution for my scalp, targeting the root cause of the oiliness while giving me volume and a lovely scent. Please, never stop making this!

I’ve been using shea moisture products from last three years, and the results have been amazing. My curls more defined, soft and healthy. The conditioner keeps my hair moisture, and the curls enhancing smoothies controls frizz so well, and curls & style milks give a nice shine without making my hair heavy.

I used this shampoo and conditioner for about a month before realizing that the damage that was occuring to my hair was due to these products. Because of the alcohol content, this product will completely dry your hair out, causing breakage and frizz, as well as strip the color from your hair. After a month of use I had to cut nearly 2 inches off of my otherwise fairly healthy hair. Steer clear of this product if you do not have virgin hair.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this. The other reviewers weren't kidding when they said this will make your hair fall out. For starters, my hair is naturally very oily and so it can take a stripping pretty decent. But by God my hair started to feel like straw after using this for one week. I never noticed any added volume, but quite the opposite; my hair has never felt thinner and it started to freak me out! I would notice a ton of fall out, so I decided to do a little test. So because I'm an insane person, I first completely cleared out and washed my brushes thoroughly, and took whatever fallout or hair that ended up in the brush, out of the brush and into a bag. For two days in a row I used the Matrix, went without a wash the third day, and then the fourth and fifth day, used my normal shampoo. I thought I noticed less fall out, and when I went to look at the bags again, the difference is insane. I still cannot believe that all this hair came out just using the Matrix shampoo, like I did nothing else differently, and these days were so close together. I hope the photos post because I want others to see how crazy this is. Seriously if you have sensitive skin at all, STAY AWAY from Matrix!

I have been using this product for many years . used to get at salons but harder to find now so I have been ordering online. Usually buy the large bottles at a better value and refill the smaller. Works great for my fine hair to give more fullness. Hopefully it doesn’t discontinue like products sometimes do.

I love Amplify. Scent is important to me, and this does not disappoint. My hair is squeaky clean, even after a full day of playing in my gardens, or working on my car. The ONLY thing I would change is selling it by the gallon jug, it's THAT good. If you haven't tried this yet, DO IT!

I tried this after my pureology hydrate shampoo started making my hair greasy after drying. I figured too much for my pin straight fine virgin hair. I was suggested this by my hair dresser & i really wanted to like it but just couldnt. It started off giving me more volume but when my hair was dry, it became greasy at the roots within a couple hours. I tried clarifying shampoo as well to see if i maybe had build up. Didnt work. I tried less shampoo, single & double washing, dry shampoo on wet & dry hair. The more i used this shampoo, my hair was getting greasy as it was still wet & drying after a shower

I have fine hair that is very straight. This shampoo and conditioner gives me some body and I also love how it smells. I first used this from my hairdresser in Dallas many years ago. I found it at a great price at Beauty Care Choices.

I've been using this shampoo for almost 20 years. I tried other shampoos from time to time, but nothing compares. I tried the Curly Girl Method for a while, but my hair was falling out. When I came back to this shampoo, the excess hair loss STOPPED! I learned from the CGM that hair either loves or hates protein, so maybe the ones who have hair loss with this shampoo should stay away from protein containing hair products. This shampoo lathers nicely, smells clean, and leaves my hair with body. Unlike most volumizing shampoos, it does NOT leave your hair in dry, unmanageable condition. Instead, it somehow leaves it tangle free and shiny, while giving volume, even without conditioner. I love this shampoo!

I actually received a sample from #bzzagent of the new dry shampoo. Couldn't live without this.! I have oily scalp and normally have to shampoo every other day. But when I used this EASY spray on dry shampoo, I was able to go several days between shampooing. It was a very light weight microfine powder mist that smelled amazing. Left no build up or residue feeling. I am now a #Matrix customer for life! Thank you
