Classic Round - Alpine Snow

I've been using a uv light system and wanted to get away from using a lamp....hard to find a polish that does not chip, peel, etc. after just a couple of days. This product worked! I did nothing special to protect my nails and the polish looked great for 8 days! The application is different than what we are all familiar with doing...using thin coats. After dipping the brush, slide one side of the brush up the top of the bottle leaving a lot of polish on the other side. Then only 3 swipes to cover your nail, and STOP! Trying to go over the covered area again or using thin coats will result in streaking. Wait about 10 mins and apply the 2nd coat the same way. I'm not ready to toss the lamp, yet, and will use a few more times before I decide to "unplug the lamp". But definitely worth giving this a try!

OPI Kyoto pearl: the color itself is great. idk why it's hard to find an opaque pearlescent white that doesn't look like you painted your nails with White-Out. this is actually opaque at 3 coats, which is good. it doesn't have any other colors in there like a pink sheen or blue sheen etc, it's really just pure white, but pearlescent, which makes it a "soft white". it is streaky like others mentioned, which is why you really need to do 3 coats so it looks good. I made the mistake of painting my nails while outside in very humid summer weather. I learned that this apparently makes the polish not cure properly. so, it chipped like crazy in less than 24 hours. I used a quick dry top coat but was shocked at how fast it chipped until I realized my mistake. I will try it again in normal indoor humidity

This was hands down the worst nail polish I have ever used, and at $12 a bottle, it’s a slap in the face. This took at least 3 coats to even show, and of course since so much was applied, it took literal hours to dry, so by the time it did, it was nicked, had fingerprints and evidence of everything I’d touched the day before. Then I braided hair, and all of the polish had rubbed off about halfway through. I got a similar color and two more for $5 at CVS. The coverage and quality was amazing, so I returned this one and I will never, ever, EVER encourage or recommend anybody to pick up a bottle of OPI, even if that’s all there was. Go bare and buff your nails.

I wouldn’t say this is my absolute favorite shade, but it’s definitely a nice pick for summer and a good mood. The color feels bright and playful without being too much. It dries fairly quickly, which is always a plus. I was pleasantly surprised that it applies well even in just one coat, and it doesn’t really streak, so the finish looks smooth and even. Overall, a solid choice if you’re looking for something light, cheerful, and easy to work with.

This is my absolute favorite color, I absolutely hate red polishes on me but this one is gorgeous, its like a deep vampire red when you put it on and relaxes to a magenta based crimson (alizarin crimson! As nail polish!!!! How did you even do that!!!), and the color kinda shifts based on what lighting youre in. Sunlight, dusk light, and warm lamps/bar light are drop dead gorgeous. Haven't done my nails every week since I needed to stop biting them but this might make me start painting them again!!! Also wow the application on this is amazing, I never need more than two good coats and this is the first polish ive ever had where top coat is fully optional. And I love the smooth shiny-bit-not Too shiny look without topcoat. Favorite polish, hands down. And so far the only repeat color ive bought from yall, im in love with this pigment, cant wait til its back in stock!!

The OPI Nail Lacquer nail polishes are my favourite nail polishes. I love the massive range of colours and quirky names for each colour. Used with the OPI base and top coat I get usually a week or so of chip free polish on fingers and even longer on my toes. The brush itself fans out nice and wide which enables me to coat each nail with fewer coats which allows for quicker drying time and nice thin even layer of colour. I have always recommended these polishes and will always continue buying them.

Good luck to everyone🌸 In this review, I want to share my experience of using OPI Nail Polish Packaging: The varnish is in a bottle with a traditional OPI design, volume 15ml. I like small bottles, here, despite the fact that the varnish in the bottle does not dry for a very long time, there is still a chance that some of it will harden, plus small bottles are more convenient to carry with you. The name of the brand "ORI" is applied to the bottle cap. It has an interesting embossed surface, so it does not slip when used, fits well in the hand. The lid is traditionally a brush handle. Through the transparent glass of the bottle, the varnish itself is perfectly visible, its color is rich blue, evokes thoughts of the summer night sky. The inscriptions applied in black on the glass of the bottle, due to the rather saturated dark color of the varnish, are almost invisible, although this is hardly a disadvantage. The bottle is easily recognizable and looks concise, all useful information is applied on a sticker on the back of the bottle. Brush: The cap of the brush fits comfortably in your hand, does not slip. The brush is comfortable, quite long, has a leg 2 cm long and an average brush thickness of 1.5 cm long, the cut of the brush is straight. The brush captures the optimal amount of varnish, painting it quickly, easily and conveniently. Smell: The smell is characteristic of varnishes, strong, but quite tolerable, not thermonuclear, dissipates quickly. Texture and color: The varnish has a dense texture, is well typed on the brush, does not flow and does not streak. The varnish is easily and quickly applied to the nails, for a rich, even coating, it is enough to apply one layer. The varnish has a deep, dense, saturated, dark brown color with silver and gold sequins that look amazing.It has a good gloss. Very beautiful. The varnish should be allowed to dry for a while. He is not capricious in a sock, he keeps calm for up to 5 days. It can be removed easily.

Juuuust like the other reviews: -had to do THREEE coats for full opaqueness -chipped same day because of the thickness due to the 3 coats I had to do - tried it with only 2 coats and a sheer look and it looks adorable with some nail art. Or even if you just like the sheer look, like me 🤗 OPI needs to start putting out some UV gel colors to the PUBLIC though. I got lucky and happened to actually LIKE the color I got (a lot of reviews didnt like even the color!). Unluckily though, I had to do 3 coats if i wanted FULL opaqueness, or 2 coats, with it still sliiiightly sheer- but I was ok with that look after some nail art. I just wish OPI and ESSIE would each put out an ACTUAL UV Gel line that you can buy in stores and online without having to buy it in bulk. Just some Food For Thought.

This is one of my absolute favorite OPI shades. Perfect for any season: spring, summer, fall or winter (I wore this over the Christmas period). No shimmer in here, no glitter and plenty of staying power. I also don't require a top coat as it's very glossy on its own. 2 coats of this and I'm good to go. Love the large brush which makes for easy application, however the only thing to be aware of is that under certain artificial lighting (i.e my office workplace) it can morph into an orange-pink shade, which for me is far from a problem as A) I find it looks equally good like that, in its own unique way, and B) keeps my office co-workers guessing - when they catch me outside on my lunch break... "How did she have one shade on inside and then stepped out in another!?"

Really disappointed in this product, not the high standard I'd expect from opi. You can't really see the colour or glitter unless you look closely. It was frustrating to apply, tacky and thick going on but still took ages to dry. Even after hours it smudged around the tip of the nails, and some parts look matte instead of shiney. Shame as it looked beautiful in the photos!

This is a good fall color that dries to a light brown shade, with a nice shiney finish. It glides on smoothly, which is very nice. Drying time seemed longer than I'm used to. **(since I wanted to make sure, i only tried it on one nail first for color, then 2 coats on a second nail to determine drying time. ) I'm sure this color would be perfect for someone looking for a light brown shade, similar to a very light milk chocolate. Both the online version (picture) and the bottle on the shelf looked much different, it was brighter and more brilliant than the product I received. I'm sending it back as it wasn't what I was looking for and just doesn't look good on me.

Oh no! Cajun Shrimp the color has been reformulated and the color is no longer that familiar orange-y red summer vibe color that looks good on everyone. The shade is more pink now, which is very obvious if you put this up against another color. I have used the OG and I replace it every year so I am disappointed. I gave the product three stars for that. The rest is typical OPI that we are used to. Great nail polish that stays on for me for days and makes my nails strong. If we could just go back to the OG Cajun Shrimp, please.
